It is unbelievable how fast the weeks can go by.  I wish I could say that I was doing so many exciting and wonderful things that I haven't had time but it is not true.    I guess right now my priorities have changed and I haven't been spending much time with my camera.  I still am going to the shelter every week and taking photos so that has not changed.

My sister who was in a serious car accident in September is back at home getting therapies three times a week.  She has shown great improvement but still has a way to go.  Still unknown if she will ever be able to drive again or hold a job but the quality of her life is decent although not what she would like.  

I apologize for not communicating more with my friends on DA.  When you do not access DA on a regular basis it becomes overwhelming when you do take the time.

Please know I still love all of the work of my friends.

Just to let you know that my sister who was involved in a very serious accident Labor Day week-end is making great strides.  She may even be able to move out of the hospital setting soon.  Her fractures are healing, she is becoming a little more mobile and her short term memory is improving.  Thanks for all the prayers and notes of support.

Just want to let you know that I will not be on DA much for the next couple of months.  It is for a combination of reasons and a lot of it will be fun.  My family is coming to visit, I am going to Spain and Portugal for a vacation and then unfortunately or maybe fortunately I am going to have some pretty major back surgery.  Hopefully after recovery I can get back to doing all the things I love.  In the meantime, I will also be trying out some artwork so you may see some of this posted periodically.
