Description
This warbler hit my window so I went out, straightened his neck and in seconds he was back on his feet. I didn't want to disturb him too much but did want to take a picture so I could identify him. It looks to me like an Ovenbird Warbler. They do winter in Florida and Southern Georgia. He rested for about 1/2 hour and then disappeared.

Wow, this is a great pic!
Sadly, the reason that I found this is in the first place isn't as great. An Ovenbird hit my window today and couldn't be saved. If I had heard of straightening their necks before hand, I would have tried it specifically, but I doubt that anything would have come of it since the poor bird had probably injured its brain beyond recovery (it was a brutal hit). I had moved it out of the way of cats and it died while I went in the house for a moment. I did take a photo here, [link] , but it's a little sad to see it in death rather than life. It was also the first time I had seen one, and I'm a little shaken up.
But congratulations for saving this one!
