georgia, eh? I went there last summer :) spent 10 days in Atlanta. I loved it, but it was almost unbearably hot... 100F... and 80% humidity. Oh, and we went to Six Flags over Georgia, and it was the first time I went on a rollercoaster, because in Germany theyre really strict about the height requirement and Im a tiny girl!

I wenr on a two week river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. I loved all the stops we made in Germany. What a beautiful country. And yes, the weather was very pleasant. It actually was very cool a couple of days even though it was July. I did, however, find a now one of my favorite sweaters there on sale for only 8 euros. Lots of great memories from that trip.

Very intricate :) Chip carving is something I've wanted to have a go at for a long time myself. Really nice work!

I agree with PsychoticNarcoleptic , How did you do that? is it by hand or a pattern press?? It is awesome!!!!

No, it is done by hand. In fact you can really change how it looks by not cutting out some of the spaces.

Thanks so much for the compliment.

You decide on a pattern and draw it out in pencil making sure everything is lined up in the center of the plate. You then chip out the individual pieces of wood that are triangular in shape. I often start to make a pattern without a definate goal but just draw lines and see where it takes me.
