Taken at the Vienna, Austria Zoo on my last vacation. It was one of two sunny afternoons we had during a two week period.

Thanks for your support and the :+fav:. I hope you enjoy it. I didn't realize he had his tongue out until I was processing the photo. Makes you wonder what he had on his mind. :) I took this at the Vienna Zoo. It really is great with lots of natural looking habitat.

I finally got a frame to put it on my wall. The tongue out is my favorite because I will laugh everytime I see it. It's like he's thinking "Christ, that's high. Why did I climb up here?" Thanks :)

I'm always working on something artsy to relax my mind. If you do not see anything, it is because it is still...unfinished :D During little time, I'll just make sketches, waiting for more time slot to finish. And at times, when Inspiration is so great I...forsake everything else, just to do art :)
Are you more comfortable with photography now? I've tried to watch the video of my camera various times, but it seems like they talk...Greek to me :stupidme:
oh, how did you like your recent cruise? Mine was nice, but I...gained a few pound :(

I learned a lot about my lens while on vacation. It really is great for some conditions but really is not intended for the normal vacation photos. But it really didn't matter much since the weather was so lousy all the photos look grey. We went through so many beautiful areas but it was cold, windy, drizzy and sunless. Oh well. We still had fun.

Right now I'm at my Mom's. She hasn't been doing well this summer and my sister needed a very well deserved vacation as the burden has been on her. So she could relax and not worry, I flew up to spend 10 days with her and get her caught up on her paperwork and around her apartment. She will be 92 on the 9th and we are having a birthday party for her on saturday and then I head home on Sunday.

Sorry to hear about the bad weather during your trip. Meanwhile, we were worried about ours due to the news of hurricane and when we were there, it was...perfect weather. I did not know how to set my camera well, so many lovely moments were poorly captured - overexposed! GRRR!
That's nice your sis and you can care for your mom. Happy advance birthday to your Mom! I hope she is in good health enough to enjoy the party for her. And for you, happy return home on Sunday :heart:
