We, as humans, have used our world to meet our needs and often have done so and still maintained the beauty of the environment. I have always loved bridges and marveled at the construction but there are also buildings that seem to be placed in such a way that they add rather than subtract. Folks here at DA have done a great job of capturing this positive interaction between us and nature. I thought it would make a good feature.

My icon is a symbol of friendship and teamwork. The photo was taken at the humane society by my friend Wendy while I was entertaining the kitten. The icon was developed for me by her daughter Kaitlyn. That is why it is so special.
